Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman is Distinguished Professor of Psychology and director of the Center for Public Policy Research at the University of California Davis. She has been widely recognized for pioneering the study of eyewitness testimony and child witnesses in the legal setting. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer, has won many prizes and grants. She has worked with a variety of organisations and governments around the globe on research and policies relating to child people who are victims of the law. She also serves as a consultant to the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center. (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She was a part of several professional associations including those of the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Policy and Practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) She is a founding member of the American Professional Society for the Abuse of Children, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research into Child Development, and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has been president of The American Psychological Association's Developmental Division as well as three divisions of the Child and Family Practice and Policy Division American Psychology Law Society and Division Developmental Psychology.
